Hostel on a Train. Supposed to be a remake of Jamie Lee Curtis terror train 80's movie but this one's different. Yes, it's Hostel-ish. The main villiains: Russian conductor and the rest of the passengers. The motive for tortured people is that well, let's just say they give a wicked meaning to the term, organ donors and donation requirements to "sick" people.
Fairly decent. The unlikely victims are college students who are pro wrestlers. Even Thora Birch is one of them. She could be perfect for Smackdown. :P Anyway, there's lot of gore stuff here: Cut out tongues, eyeballs, testicles, you name it. It's all here. I looved Thora's heroine character as a college wrestler fighting the Russian baddies ala Alias. :p

I fancy watching Creep.
The mutant in the underground train station.
He thinks he's a doctor, and he performs somewhat abortions, lol.
Ah good film, it always scares me and I'm always silly enough to watch these films on my own.
How sad. T_T

Think of Evil BIG BROTHER FRANCE and Saw minus the booby traps. The main villains: a group of gas masked men and a voiceover reminiscent of BIG BROTHER yet computer like voice that sounded much like the HAL computer of 2001.. Creepy shit. Despite there's not much gore, it's psychological warfare of Simon says. I even loved one of the victims' theories saying that it's a stupid TV masochistic game show of Big Brother, military experiment, etc...
I disagree with the IMDB comments saying the ending twist was a feel tacked on about giving a metaphor of "modern living in a lifestyle community."
Yes, there's even a huge twist very similar to the Saw 2 ending. I won't tell. The motives for their torture are just plain sick in a good way.. Enjoy.
5/5 Masterpiece psychological thriller and France's answer to Saw and BIG BROTHER.. They put reality in the term, "REALITY TV." Indeed.
The most bad-ass dialogue comes from the voiceover referring to his torture programs as "activities" and he calls his victims, "Residents of a community." Again, a big reference to Big Brother TV.
P.S. Someone said that this movie is like The Cube. But only better. Even though I didn't saw The Cube yet. :p

Just finished watching The Black Dahlia, finally got around to watching it. Although it got a bad rap I actually quite enjoyed it, I admit the acting was quite poor but Hilary Swanks character was pretty engaging but then again that could have just been because she was amazing eye candy in it. Think I just liked the story and the twist on the Black Dahlia murder.
I'm gonna go read the book that the film was based on i'm sure i'll enjoy that a whole lot more. Anyone else a fan of this movie?
Penelope.
She had a pigs nose.
Has some nice video work in it.
Damn, I fancy watching something with loads of prosthetics and that sort of makeup.
*gets out my supplies* lol.

i donno if i would say "fan" but i have watched it a great many times, have it on dvd and everything. i was more interested in the real world aspects in the background than the dramatized story up front, like the zoot suit riots. you thought hillary swank was eye candy? you poor bastard. we had both scarlett johanson and mia kirshner for that and you go with horse face, herself?
but anything that gives props to "the man who laughs" is alright with me.
