please note any bugs encountered with the new forums here.

be as specific as possible with the url, browser you're using + version (can usually be found under "about..." in the help menu), describe as best you can what went wrong and especially mention the last specific action you took. Also, e.g. "I was posting a message" is helpful, but "I was posting a message, and after I pressed the submit button", is even more helpful.

we have a completely custom and hand built message forum from myself and my tech genius, hacker partner Alex and while we've exhausted as much testing on various browsers and platforms, we need your help to improve and make this place even cooler.

I reported a few problems below, in addition I would like to mention the cut copy paste feature only works when using keystrokes which isn't terrible if you know them... For those who may be unfamiliar with them

Cut = CTRL + X

Copy=CTRL+C

Paste+CTRL+V

Also, note If you leave the Subject of A PM blank it does not allow you to open it, as the sender or receiver.

It has been a busy time for me getting most of this working. I'm very proud of the result, but I'm not surprised to see a few problems and quite a few suggestions.

All suggestions are noted. However, I will not be able to get around to implementing most of them for now. I am currently having exams; getting the board ready by now has been a heavy task by itself. Halfway next month, I will be 100% available again and I will do the best I can to get your favourite feature working then.

But in any case keep suggesting! Your input is appreciated and all suggestions are taken seriously & noted.

Bugs (ie things that are actually broken) are a different tale. They're usually smaller issues and I do try to get around to these right now. However I am only human (at least, as far as I know) so it can occassionally take a little while for me to deal with something. In most cases however I am able to fix the issue within 24 hours after receiving notification.

Any problem or difficulty you are having with the board please post or (if you can't) email me directly at antickon@gmail.com

Conclusion: I think in general the board has at least a moderate amount of features and these are working pretty well. In any case, the important things is we can all get together and discuss stuff. I hope you're all enjoying it.

I keep logging out all the time even though I check the "remember me?" box. This wasn't a problem on the old messageboard.

make sure you have cookies enabled or that you aren't clearing your internet cache.

In both IE 6.0 & Chrome occasionally someone's avatar won't be resized - I get the full-sized image mucking up my screen. It picks & chooses who it is, too. One day it might be one user, the next day someone else.

thanks much for the note. that particular bug is one we're aware of and are currently addressing. hopefully to be remedied as soon as possible.

It's a glitch that has been up for about three hours now. I think Nick finally managed to sleep because I can't get ahold of him by phone or email. And our resident programmer is nowhere to be found at the moment either. Likewise, I'm useless with code.

As soon as one of them is awake this should be fixed asap. Please bear with us until then. I'm as puzzled as you are.

After about an hour of debugging I finally got to the bottom of the login problem. If you were previously logged out despite checking the 'remember me' box this issue should now be fixed, as soon as you clear your cookies for nachtkabarett.com. There was apparently a problem with different versions of the 'remember me'-cookie being stored.

in firefox go to: edit » preferences » privacy » show cookies; select nachtkabarett.com and click "remove cookies". Other browsers should have similar functionality in their preferences/settings dialogs.
