To be quite honest, I don't like this.
I like the comic as itself and I like the first movie by itself too. As Vanz pointed out, the movie is different from the original comic. But I'm having a hard time picturing an actual, more 'faithful' version of it being made and actually being watchable or good. Even with Nick Cave involved (whom I love). The original movie may not have been a page to page true adaption of the comic, but it was a great movie.
Maybe I'll change my mind on this later. Big, fat maybe. Hollywood has been rehashing old movies I love and just murdering them. I'm already irritated they're trying to remake Neverending Story. Now this? Ugh.
