This one's called "Celebrity Killing Spree."
Do you like it? I thought of it myself.
It's sort of a "what if?"
Rather than being a "how about?"
It's about this old man from Vancouver.
Who decides to actually do it.
(Yes, not just have the screen name.)
But it needs to be creative (like the hair).
Because the internet is like a posterboard.
And the keyboard is your kid's crayons.
Signing on is like riding the bus to somewhere important,
So that you can hold up your posterboard with the neat quote.
The one you made up all by yourself.
The one that switches nouns around.
For example:
"Spree's don't kill Celebrities"
"Celebrities kill sprees!"
Fucking genuis, man.
If you think about it.
Except there's a problem.
There's millions of people with posterboards and crayons and sparkly glitter and hateful sayings.
They're switching nouns around too, and some of it's pretty damn good.
So the maniac who's spitting into the loudspeaker can't even see what you made him for his fridge.
It's like a massive daycare, except on the lawn of the White House (or twitter's headquarters).
Anway, back to the old man with the hair who used all of his kid's red crayons.
What if he actually did go on a celebrity-killing spree.
"Well that's ridiculous," you might say.
"It's freedom of speech."
"Art imitating life, not life imitating art."
(How's that for a noun-switcher? I made it up myself.)
Anyway, personally, I think that it's time to be done with free speech.
You know why, because it results in a whole lot of talk and no doing.
People hide behind it.
I think that if you're going to say something...
By law, you should be forced to do it or you get ten lashings.
Anyway, sorry for such a long poem that's all over the place.
I wrote it in my bedroom when I was really depressed and dark.
I know that there's a lot of macabre terminology in the above poem and I apologize in advance.
