I think I'd also like to suggest Platonic epistemology to you.

LOL

I hate losing posts that take me forever to formulate.
So here:
I agree with that DJNX has been saying. I am sorry for not responding to it. They get what I am trying to talk about but lack the ability to articulate. I merely wish to play, intelligently, and poke and prod what it is that makes me human. And how that relates to the rest of the world. It isn't about personal beliefs.
It's about the whole picture. Knowing who you are, being comfortable with that, and then exploring the world through other points of views. For me. This is what my discovery has been about.
To be truly objective is to not see things just from your own personal point of view, but to strive for the point of view of those who you are around. To me objectivity is more important than anything.
The lesson I am looking for now, to be honest with you, is how to be objective. I know what I think now. I want to know what others think. Further in this lesson, I need to learn how to communicate my point of view without trampling the points of views of others.
I've been this blunt, up front, person my entire life. I've allowed my life to become littered with misinformation. Now, trusting myself, I want to cast off the things I do not like and become more whole inside. More consistent. More open.
Some people are born with this intense sense of self; I was unfortunate in that I didn't realize this until now. Other's just don't have this and grow into it. Other's don't have it and don't care to grow into it. It's just a different point of view, not a universal truth. These are MY universal truths that I can apply to my life. Why not share them with people in the hopes that maybe something can be gleaned from it that helps them?
I will never say I know everything, because I do not. The more you learn, the more you realize that you'll never stop learning. There is no right answer. But that's okay; you find your own right answers. But then you can take that a step further and see what other peoples are.
I just approached it incorrectly. I apologize if I have offended, because it was not my motivation behind any of my words thoughts or actions. It's the byproduct of them. Please do as DJNX has done and tell me what you saw in what I wrote, not just what I wrote at face value. Please do as Alison has done, recommending more information. I now have another nugget I didn't have before due to looking into "Platonic epistemology"
People are uninformed because they don't know something. I define being at a lower level of consciousness as not knowing something of great importance to yourself and being unable to recognize that importance and so not being able to explore and trying to figure it out.
"And I believe in one Earth, the Mother of us all, and in one Womb wherein all men are begotten, and wherein they shall rest, Mystery of Mystery, in Her name BABALON."
I noticed something mentioned about chaos. Keep in mind cellular division also is a depiction of this chaos. Cause they are ramdonly dying and recreating themselves at will.
I'm so lost, I don't even know how to respond. All I know is Embers has the wrong idea about the three dogmatic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Those religions are about serving only God, and rejecting yourself and others in order to be for that God alone. It is not about anything else. If anything, the definition you wrongly give them is the definition they are given to by modern people, not the people that started the religion. Lol, you realize Old Dogmatic religions were horridly villainous, whereas now they are more watered down aside from Islam.
Also, the meaning of life is not SENTIENCE. That's what Sentience is. Life is simply a biological mass, be it single-celled, bacterial, multicelled, fully formed plant or animal based. If it requires sustinence, reproduces, and can die, then it is life.
You seem to not understand that, even though we have a small handful of sentient species on this planet, beings like US could very well be rare in the universe. Sentient beings like Whales, Dolphins, Squid, and Elephants could be quite uncommon, considering if you compare the number of sentient beings against the number of mainly instinctual beings. So I would say that Sentience is most likely uncommon, maybe even rare, but life itself is abundantly common in the universe and therefor does not need sentience to be living.
Does a bacteria need to think to be alive? No.
Lastly, and I still don't get what the fck this chick or dude is saying. You keep throwing the word "Science" out there as if it lends you some kind of credibility. Then you use God, and Soul, and terms that clearly shred any connection to science you thought you had. You're not being scientific in your philosophy, you're being Self-Romanticized. You want the world to be the way you think it should be, and so you're pushing that idea deeper into your mind and onto other individuals without critcally thinking and wondering if what you're saying actually measures up to scrutiny of not only science, but the opinions of others and how they respond.
You're not doing that. You're just pushing as if we're retards and saying your philosophy is correct because you say it is. That isn't science, that's just being stubborn about YOUR "BELIEFS". :) And believing doesn't make it real.
Also I keep noticing that when someone calls her out on her philosphy, she immediately says "I misspoke on this part" "I didn't mean this, I meant that," if you're not even certain or steadfast on what your philosophy is, how do you expect us to buy into it?

I apologize.

@Embers, in the vein of platonic epistemology-Alison never throws her words away:)-I think you've experienced an epiphany and you are in the process of framing it.
"It means whatever you want it to mean--"
The framing it never came for me in my life; I'm still waiting for it. The time isn't right yet. It will be eventually, I'm sure. : )
But yeah, you hit the nail on the head. Ephiphanies being sudden bursts of energy. I read up on what Alison told me and I am trying to figure out how *I* see it in relation to myself.
But while searching for that for me, I want to know what everyone else thinks. Not because I want to adopt what everyone else is saying, but so I can determine a common thread and make a decision based on that.
Information, in the pure, often useless without form.
I found my information, now I am trying to find the frame it fits in for me.
I'm going to get it, my individual self, but I'm not concerned when that happens. Musing in every day life is way more important.
And I believe there is a resonance in all living beings, so trusting and believing in that, I am appealing to the higher being in all of us. The higher consciousness. That which guides.
The thing that gives us all epiphanies and sets; once I get that, it's up to where I want to go.
And what I want to do with my life. So long as I am creating, I know I will be okay. Because I'd never take on anything I couldn't handle, on the broader scale. My failures are small successes; building on each other.
And rejoicing in the difference, the dissonance. I'm amused.
