new chat room

    Admittedly the previous chat room did not work very well. I was very happy to see people from our community starting their own. Now that it has proven it's awesomeness, I've embedded it into the site. You'll notice the reappearance of the link at the top menu.

     

    The same restriction as last time applies, nicknames are mostly out of our control. However the flash client works a lot smoother than the java one, and there is now webcam and microphone support.

    All I'm seeing is:

     

    Chat help
    • To access the chat you need to have a flash plugin installed.
    • To change your nickname type /nick NewNick.
    • IMPORTANT: Nicknames in the chatroom need not be registered and hence do not necessarily correspond with Babalon accounts.
    No room, no window, no broken flash icon thing.

    will check it out. basically I just took tinychat suggested, it worked perfectly on google chrome so I assumed it would do so everywhere... let me check this out.

    Hi. Initially tinychat.com/babalon (or /Babalon, it's not case sensitive) was the same as clicking the chat link from the forum. Now, they are separate chat rooms. Was this intentional? Is it a mistake? Why/when did this happen? (It appears only recently, like, in the last few days.)
