    It's easy to use words like Fascist or Socialist if you don't know what they mean or anything about history.

    That being said I don't think it's outrageous, just stupid. I love free speech because people never miss the opportunity to use it to prove how stupid they are.

    I don't agree with much of his politics but comparing him to Hitler? Come on.


    P.S. Can someone explain the Joker thing to me. The Joker is an anarchist/absurdist That movie made a be-gillion dollars so there's no one that doesn't know that. Is it really as simple as 'they just think he's a joke', therefore he's the 'Joker'? Cause if it is, then clearly it's something only the profoundly stupid would appreciate.

    Making speech limited is stupid. With that kind of logic, there would be no band known as Marilyn Manson. People are entitled to say whatever the hell they want to say within the proper context. I think there's a line in school between soliciting and handing out information. For example, people aren't allowed in California's schools or in the work place handing out religious material. I'm sure the same applies to the rest of the United States, maybe neglected and ignored in some of the southern ones.

     

    Terms such as "conservative" or "liberal" are general simplifications that don't always make sense anymore. They change so much that you can't pin them down. For example, politically speaking, Obama is far more conservative than Adolf Hitler. That's for you to investigate.

     

    Additionally I'd like to mention that just because you disagree or dislike what someone is saying, that doesn't make them an idiot. However thinking so does in fact make you ignorant.

    I am very pissed at how quickly Americans who supported him have turned on Obama, at the drop of a hat. For reasons I was campaigning against mind you. It just proves to me that the ignorant people shouldn't be allowed to vote. on both sides before all the liberals jump in.

    Perfect example was when, prior to the election, Jay Leno walked the streets of LA and read, to an assortment of different people, personal beliefs, specific goals, and detailed plans of a candidate, they all agreed on the positions and said they would definetely vote for that person. Then Leno asked them who they were voting for, they said Obama, then he told them that every platform he had told them came from John McCain. And now, here we are.

    I honestly think that requiring all voters to read some kind of standard info about each candidate would be beneficial. Even though I read all I can about candidates, I'd still be interested in reading soething like this. An independent non-profit could ask all candidates the same questions, compile the answers, and send it out to everyone. I'd reckon that this would be different from a literacy test, because the non-profit could also release the info via audio, braille, etc. Just an idea here.

     Exactly.  I was an Obama supporter during the election and even I admitted that Obama was going to win because of his style, not his politics.  The guy who promises change and looks best saying it almost always wins, no matter what else he might say.  That's what just happened here in Massachusetts, more or less.

    ^LOL, In my state a Republican wins no matter what, it sucks.  It's funny how most people that take voting seriously and strive to do it are the ones who really don't have a clue. I voted for Obama and I cared enough to actually watch all of the debates and listen to him. He seemed like a pretty nice guy and yes I falled into all of the promises which of course in the back of my head I knew there were just that. I'm not saying they won't be kept but I'm not saying they will.

    Sounds like someone missed the most recent State Of the Union speech that Obama gave. 

    He clearly mentions ALL the problems/mess that occurred BEFORE he walked in the door of Presidency.

    That amount of mess he inherited cannot be fixed by himself. He specifically asked the entire white house staff for help in fixing every fucking thing that went wrong, including the government. 

     

    It's all fun and games when you make fun of the new president, but it's actually time to get serious-

    Actually, Lyndon LaRouche is a Jesuit tool that would love to lead us into a New World Order called the Second Dark Ages that would be centered around the Catholic Church. He'd put Marilyn Manson and the rest of us in concentration camps.

    If people actually wanted 'change' they would have risen up in unison, and beat a path to the doorway of the Whitehouse. You do not find any 'change' in electing into office Politicians who all, of both parties, represent the established system and hold the general populace in contempt.
