FAce it, the media wants "shocking" Manson, not "artful" manson. And that is really, really, really, sad. But a sad fact.
I would love for this song to be played on the radio, but lets face it, editing this song would kill the mood and this video really isnt a tv friendly video. Yeah its a great artful video to us, but to someone who for some reason hasnt heard of Manson would look at this and change it before the video gets good.
I want Manson to be successful, but at the same time I dont want the bullshit that comes with people not understanding what the fuck is going on and making dumb motherfucking comments. I deal with enough stupidity as I work at starbucks.

Even here at the rock station they don't play MM songs anymore. Altough sometimes they can be heard in the middle of night (sweet dreams/beautiful people). A few years ago, when i used to listen to radio because i had long drive to do every morning, i noticed that they used as background music "king kill 33" and other MM songs form Holy Wood as looping samples, but never mentioned him.
About the Arma video, I believe that the director' cut should be put on MM official website. Both of them, is better than one.
I wish they would play Running to the edge of the world on radio. Sadly, the song is 6 minutes long. Maybe a Promo-CDs with an edit version (around 3-4min) + fan grassroot pushing could make it happen.

NOW THIS IS A GOOD IDEA!!! I have to say it like it is, cuz thats the kinda girl iam! The video was fucking WOW and i have to say quit disturbing there is no way in hell they will play it on mtv! They are waaaay to teenie bopper main stream now and have too much to lose "image wise" to ever play it, even late at night. So i think the best way to get hype goin is to play on the darker images in the video and get everyone buzzing about "That new Marilyn Manson video"!

The "Running To The Edge Of The World" video has been reported by a spanish feminist group. It's a little, minor success, I know, but still I'm proud I took part in this.
Actually, it wasn't a difficult thing, I just joined one of those pseudo-feminazi internet forums and posted a few times. Wish you could understand spanish and laugh your ass off by reading comments they made, some of them nearly went nuts LOL
So, the admin on the site called someguy and reported the video. Unluckily, the new didn't make it to the media or anything, guess it won't be taken as a serious thing...I mean, when you spend your time babbling about the feminine superiority and use lipstick swastikas, it's a normal thing to happen haha
Hope they'll do the rest of the work for me and tell every feminist they know about the video... last time I visited that forum, they were talking about threads on Facebook about it.
Who knows, maybe this is a good sign after all ^^
