Alla, it's a rock concert, not soap opera, so it's absolutely not cool to see Marilyn Manson from balcony. Don't see any reasons for "envy".
And do you really think that price $300 makes you something like rich? Oh, man, are you fuckin' kiddin' me? =)))
Anyway, as i said it sucks, I prefer first row.

So true. Nothing like being that close to Manson. The atmosphere there is unbelievable and you don't even take notice of the "drunk and smelly morons".

You got teenagers stereotypes: "It's a rock concert so you need to pass all rings of Hell, get drunk and go crazy like African gorilla". It's a teenage fanatic idiocy! It is necesaary to respect yourself first! I simply want to sit and see Marilyn Manson's concert in comfort, not in a concrete mixer. And my balcony is just simply further on 20 metres from your first row. And I don't wish to be a part of this sick atmosphere.

I hate sitting at a rock concert, but that's me. And I'm not a teen for quite some time. I also never drink alcohol at shows, I want to fully enjoy the show. That includes dancing, jumping, singing along and screaming, being a part of the show, feeling the music with every inch of my body. Hard to do while you're sitting. I don't like being crushed by sweaty drunkards either so I go only as far front as I can handle.
But each his own. When you're already sitting on your VIP balcony not doing anything, I hope you'll at least record the show with a proper camera and upload it to youtube! Would be great :)

And the recording of show is strongly prohibited in this club. My zone is very small and there will be a lot of security guards. So... only photos... may be.

How's a movie or theater related to a rock concert? The only related thing I see is that there are more people watching and you're buying tickets ;) You're aware that it's gonna be a hell of loud, right? ;) For me it's completely different (and I love movies!). Of course it's different with bands I don't care about much (some tend to surprise occasionally though) ... that intense feeling is hard to explain to someone who hasn't experienced it, for me it also works with only a couple of bands. It's like a one-night stand (the "stranger bands"), or sex with someone you love (an artist you love) - and in either case when you're just sitting and watching other people do it, it can't get as good as when participating in it ;)
Well, I've never been to a show where taking pictures or recording would be allowed - it didn't stop me from doing it though. Never got to any trouble for it in the past 10 years.

For example I was on Beyonce and Children of Bodom concerts some days ago... and you know, It's all variety entertainment music. "you're just sitting and watching other people" - I don't care about other people, I WATCH AND LISTEN THE CONCERT ON 100% - that's what I need and it's very hard to do this when you're screaming and jumping in the mad crowd when sometimes you even got difficult with breath or fear for your health!
sp1nat, you have it! and even more, you're just a sick fan, according to my observations during the last two years!
