People who waste their lives trying to 100% songs on expert on GH/RB whatever are pathetic. If you're going to devote that much time to something learn the real instrument. This game is designed for people who just want to have fun and play with friends etc.

I have only played guitar hero, and rock band a handful of times. I do play "real instrument(s)". Sometimes I even bust out The Beautiful People *gasp. It's a fun song to rock out to on a real instrument. But guitar hero is for gamers who want to be challenged by complex patterns, the right to brag about their ocular accuity, and coordinations.
