Manson,
I would personally like to thank you for the amount of energy and excitement that you have put into THEOL, as well as the Current Tour. I had the opportunity to see you Live July 25th in Noblesville, Indiana.
I Must say based on that show alone, This tour is one of the most intense and surreal experiences that I have witnessed in a live show. In true Cyclical Fashion, It's almost as if you are taking it back to 1994, Very Personal and Private, where the shows are geared towards the true fans who have stood beside you throughout it all, Without care of fitting into the mainstream, or whether new fans are interested... It's almost like we are a part of the 'Manson Family' now more than ever... And We all appreciate that.
The Videos that we have seen so far from the current tour are absolutely mind-blowing,From the High Quality Videos Steve has posted, to the lower-quality Videos that fans have posted on Youtube... One thing is apparent, regardless of what the media and so-called journalists state... The Band Is In Top Notch,
From Twiggy's presence on Guitar
to the New Form that Your Voice has taken on and the surprises in certain words that you scream live. Not to mention the raw energy that Andy expresses on Bass,
The hypnosis of Vrenna on Keys, and the earth-shattering beats that we have all come to know and love from Ginger. The Band is in Top Form and if there ever was a perfect tour to release a DVD and Blu-ray, This would be it. You can definitely sense something MAJOR in the air, that can only be defined asTHE HIGH END OF LOW.
To quote myself from my review in the Indy thread:
You Can Tell That There is Something Major in the Works For the headlining tour, you can just sense it in the atmosphere, The current lineup is stronger than ever. In My Opinion... Manson's Voice Sounds Better Now Than It ever has, He really puts more feeling into each and every song.
The Sound Was really Amazing, After Seeing Twiggy Live, I really can't Imagine Anyone Else Playing Those Songs On Guitar Again, I am not overshooting this when I say that In My Opinion, Twiggy's Presence has more of an impact on the live sound than when John 5 was on guitars. The I didn't realize how prominent the Keys were In We're From America Until I saw it Live. Everything was dead on and complemented each other, Sound & Stage Wise. Manson's Vocals were unparallelled compared to the previous two tours, Sonically, It was up there With Guns, God, And Government..
You Can Definitely Sense Something "Major" In the Atmosphere, The High End Of Low is going to explode into something as epic and groundbreaking as the Album sounded (and still sounds) when it first dropped.
I would personally Love to see the DVD & Blu-ray start off with GBWW with the Cutting of the Cube of Space in LINZ June 24 as shown here. It almost signifies the 'Rebirth' that is such an integral part of THEOL
As for Special Features, I would Love to See Behind the Scenes of the 30-40 Camera Shot of Arma-geddon as Delaney mentioned. Perhaps a Full Version of the Video. And some of the backstage antics and humour we have come to know and love from the band. And an Exclusive Interview on the Disc Conducted by None other than Our Own, Nick Kushner.
I would also love for a Live Album of The Tour, Preferably with a different tracklisting than the video, And Possibly release a true B-Side from THEOL, previously unreleased. ( Perhaps a Cover Song, as well ;) With full album artwork, Laced with some form of symbolism, in the vein of The Last Tour on Earth. And a large fold out with tons of pictures from the tour.
And Please Release a New Website, Something Major as THEOL truly deserves, Full of Hidden Sites and Puzzles that we all love.
[god]speed in all of your journey's
