I'm shocked not to see this. You kids need to step up your spooky game.

I liked this trailer. I want to see this film.
I can't wait to see it! The trailer was was completely crap but ahving heard some of the stuff that happens it it I still choose to believe it's going to be amazing, haha.
Im going to see this tomorrow, shall report back with thoughts. From what ive read though, i cant wait.

It looks rather interesting. I'd really like to see it.
Although I'm not too sure about that sex scene at the end (of the trailer) with Willem Dafoe.

That's the only thing that seemed even remotely interesting to me! The rest of the trailer just made it seem like a crappy, cliché scary movie. (Remote cottage, far-away woods, couple alone with no way of contacting the outside world...blah blah).

indeed but ima watch it anyways

mmmmmm......yes
Well, just got back, and let me say HOLY FUCK!! :p
Not for the feint hearted, most of the movie is spent building an unsettling suspense with some wierd imagery thrown in as well and then the end is one of the goriest pieces of cinema i have seen in a while. The only thing i can think of to compare it to is the last half an hour of Salo.
Good film though and i would deffinately see it again.
EDIT: Also that sex scene at the end of the trailer is almost by far the least graphic. Lots and lots and lots of sex in this :p

Okay, I didn't read all of the above but you might want to put a spoiler warning on it??
Looks to me like Damien from the Omen is working his evil powers over this couple. :p Or Nature itself is, as the wife said, "Satan's Church." Interesting..

Looking forward to seeing this in a little while when it shows in my town. Was I the only one to be reminded of the Libertine during the sex scene part of the trailer?
haven't heard of this one before.i probably won't see it but the darkeness of the movie i must say looks really neat.
about that sex part...i wouldn't mind it so much but the last thing i want to see is all those other hands and bodies around.LOL

It really can't be described until you see it. It IS shocking, but it's also elegant and extremely beautiful. The only film I can think of that could compare in the slightest would be Bergman's Hour of the Wolf, but even that cannot be called a satisfactory definition. I was waiting with baited breath to see this film the minute it was announced and even after all the hype I wasn't disappointed. To be honest the first thing I wanted to do after I saw it was to watch it all over again.
