I'll be there! My first Manson concert; I'm pumped. I really hope it's a big, loud, rowdy crowd... is this just the 2nd time he's played in Winnipeg?

He's playing Minneapolis the night after us (9 hour bus trip) so I guess there's no chance of him having a post-concert drink anywhere downtown.

From reading previous reviews, it sounds like it's a fairly short concert (around 75 minutes), but I don't care... I'm just glad he's playing here. Lets show him how appreciated he is so he comes back here on his next tour!

Just 24 hours to the show... The Man is in Winnipeg as we speak! ... Just finished reading Long Hard Road Out of Hell for the 2nd time... great book.

WOW! (pun intended)... what a great show!

I don't care what anyone says; Manson rocked the MTS Centre tonight. Looked like a crowd of about 4,000 (probably the 2nd largest crowd for Manson's High End of Low tour thus far, after Edmonton's 4,500 Friday night)- and they were loud and appreciative.

Highlights were The Dope Show, Sweet Dreams, and The Beautiful People (which I almost lost my voice screaming along to).

Quite a crowd. Saw someone who dressed as Heath Ledger's Joker. Another guy clad in a corset. The smell of marijuana made my eyes water. I can't fuckin' wait till he's here again...

Of course, everyone who attended the show knows it was much better than the reviews make it out to be. The only real complaint from people attending was it was a little short for their liking (75 minutes of Manson).

As I was leaving I saw several cops cars with their lights flashing. Whatever. What started as "reports of a riot" will be diminished to "someone was arrested for public intoxication" tomorrow I'm sure.

Hey look, Manson hasn't played here since '97.... we have a lot of pent-up aggression here in the 'Peg!

Hope the band didn't have any problems crossing over into Minnesota this a.m.... I know what pricks the border patrol can be.
