I understand that there is a new text editor in the works and such, and I Just Wanted to Point Out A Few Things That Im Sure Everyone is aware of and perhaps offer some suggestions as to how to clean up Quoting and enable Multiquote Option.
I Must Admit I Think the Spiked " " Logo Is Attractive and would like to see it stay in conjunction with a Text Box that truly separates one persons post from the quoted post. My Reasoning for the suggestion of a Block style Text Box is that when I go to respond to a rather lengthy post and I want to Respond to direct paragraphs and add my interpretation to them, It is difficult if not impossible to do so, without the posts become really unflowing and unattractive. I would suggest getting rid of the Greying of the font as well because I feel that this causes the quoted text to be completely disregarded by the Reader and takes away from the element of quoting in the first place.
Also, Multiquoting is Impossible. I think the Box Idea would help this as well.
And A further Example of a difficulty is shown below when you quote someone who has quoted another, It Makes it Virtually impossible to recognize who has posted what unless one reads both of the posts by the users that are quoted

I know that Quoting is not necessarily A Major Thing, Unless you are attempting to draw upon individual pieces of a quoted post in the Analysis Section then things are a different story.
