I will be going to this show as well.

Two other friends will be going with me (and we have a FREE ticket,

so a lucky passerby at the show who doesn't have a ticket may be able to get in XD sad,

Well, I'm back in Cleveland retrieving some of my left-behinds on my way back to Chicago and I didn't get word in time for the long-ass bus ride to Florida anyway, so I'm officially out of the running for the ticket...thanks anyway, guys!!!

surprised there's been no posts in here since the show. set list was the same it's been. i'll post it anyway i guess for those that haven't been following:

we're from america

sweet dreams

the beautiful people

got to the venue around 9:30. caught the end of slayer and got a good spot in the pit. it was my 13th time seeing the band and honestly sometimes it doesn't even seem like a big deal, but i brought my personal assistant to the show and he'd only seen manson once before, so he was super excited.

i thought manson's voice sounded great. the best it's sounded in YEARS. i was blown away. the last few tours he didn't even seem to be trying or was so doped up he didn't know what he was doing.

really enjoyed the new material. that's what i was there for. would have loved to hear more new songs, but i realize on a festival that isn't going to happen. i really hope we get a proper tour in the fall or winter though with at least the six new songs that were played overseas.

manson hit me in the head with a towel, so i guess i ended up with a memento. last tampa show he hit me in the head with a full water bottle. hopefully i don't get hit with anything tomorrow in west palm.

i LOVED twiggy doing backing vocals. new bassist was pretty good.

i walked out of there very pleased and very excited for tomorrow. may stay overnight in west palm and catch def leppard on thursday as well.

what did everyone think of the show?

what started out as a possible disaster with torrential rainfall, an ampitheatre roof which wouldn't hold it back, and sweltering heat turned out turned out to be an amazing show with Manson performing even more energetic and projecting chaos than has been usual on the Mayhem tour. anyone who has a chance to see these last dates it's highly recommended to not miss.
