I'll be at this one.
"Be Yourself" is just about the worst advice you can give some people. - Tom Masson
"It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere." - Voltaire
"Nothing tastes better than the embarrassment of those so sure that you would fail." - Marilyn Manson
I'm hoping to go to this one but I might not get to go because I'm grounded Lydia lawn or pit? I know people that're getting seats from work. That's pretty stupid imo.
"May I take your coat madame?" -Brings the back of your hand to my lips- Tis a pleasure to meet you.
Looking forward to reviews!
Nothing yet ?
I was at the show last nite (and not the one tonight. I accidentally confirmed for the wrong show. Anyway) and since no one has posted a review, then I will give it a shot.
It was a respectable performance by Manson. No surprises on the setlist, exactly the same as the most recent batch of Mayhemfest shows. The show was far from perfect, performance-wise, but it was still very enjoyable. I'm not sure what happened, but somehow Manson got about one beat behind the band on Irresponsible Hate Anthem, and never recovered. He then pointed at Ginger and started shouting at him, he might have also thrown something, it was hard to tell. So I don't know if Manson's monitors fucked up, or if he just fucked up and tried to blame Ginger. LOL Poor Ginger! During Arma . . . he changed the lyrics at the end to Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin'-Pittsburgh, which was hilarious. Probably the highlight of the evening was when I guess there were these two guys standing on the rail, who were obviously not into Manson at all. So Manson asked for volunteers to take their place on the rail. He ended up having security escort the two guys out of the pit, and let these two girls who were showing thier tits take their place. That the kinda shit I love Manson for!!! So, all in all, not a terrible show. A little too short, and I was really shocked how dead the crowd was. They were going ape for Slayer, I think most people stayed for Manson, but they didn't get into it at all. Oh well. Defintely not as good as the second half of Rape of the World, but it was a festival show. I'm sure any upcoming solo dates will be much better.
I've got some good pics, so I'll post those now. If I can get them off the camera, I may post vids of Little Horn and Tourniquet a little later. Here's the pics:
Thanks for the review and those nice photos!
Thanks for the Pics & Highlites.. I'm getting so psyched for the Hartford show on the 8th .
Here is Little Horn. I may be able to upload one or two other videos later tonight once I see how they turned out. Enjoy!
Ok, here's Tourniquet. Thanks for the other vids, Hellzapoppin! Now that I see the quality my girlfriend's camera is capable of, I wish I'd just booted the whole damn show! ::kicks self::
We're From America (sorry the vid isn't the best, audio is decent though!)
Great videos, thanks !
