Rock Hall's downtown. Blossom is much closer to Akron than Cleveland, you're looking at about a 35 mile drive down 490/80. If you're looking for a hotel somewhere in between, I'd look for a place in Independence/Broadview Heights/Brecksville. There are a bunch there but that's a big office/business district so a lot of the hotels may be more upscale and/or sold out for next weekend. Might take a little digging.

Ok, well thanks for the info.  35-40 minutes isn't too bad so I booked a room downtown anyway.  Is there any good bars down there or anything?  Like rockish ones... not stupid clubs filled with popped collars and playing shitty music.

    Ha.

You've definitely never been to Cleveland before, lol.

Contrary to what irresponsible comics would have you believe, Cleveland, in fact, most assuredly does NOT rock.  I don't know HOW the hell the got the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame built THERE, of all places.

There's nothing much open too late downtown, I'm afraid.  There are a couple bars and late-night hangouts near the House of Blues but that's about it, and they're all pretty normal and lame.  But make sure you check out the Tower City Mall...it's about as cool as it gets downtown and it's easy to spot because it's got an old, giant radio antenna atop its roof, which is visible from pretty much anywhere in the city (the building in which it is housed is about 25 stories, or something).

Still, when you go to the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame, make sure you check out the wardrobe exhibit downstairs, since you can see Manson's leather trenchcoat from the Guns, God, and Government tour down there...it's right by Matthew and Gunnar Nelson's trenchcoats, lol.  And there's a little video exhibit room that plays chunks of "Down In It"  and displays a few Billboard stats, but that's it for NIN.  VERY little love for the hometown heroes there, for some reason.

    Good luck!!!

Yeah, only time I've ever been to Cleveland was this past September for a wrestling pay per view.  And you're right, it seemed nothing was really going on downtown.... but I just assumed that it was like that cause it was midnight on a Sunday.  We left the morning after so didn't really get to see much of the city so I thought maybe there was some cool spots or something I was missing out on.... guess not though lol.

So it looks like I'll be seated in section 36 row E for the show.  Any of you guys sitting nearby?

I'll be there.  Got a group of four going.  I have had the tickets for months now, Section 37 Row B.

Regarding the questions on Blossom, it is a good venue overall.  I actually like DTE in Michigan much better though.

For those looking for places to go afterwards in Cleveland, forget about it.  It is a good 30 minute drive back to the city.  Your best bet is to do what I'm doing...  arrive early and f*cking party all day and into the night at the concert with a secured ride home.  There is only one road that leads out of the place and they are head-hunting for drunks.

Also, I would caution those who are sitting on the lawn.  The hill is more steep than most venues and they added new bleacher seats to the pavilion as part of the renovation, which pretty much blocks your view at the bottom of the lawn.  The best seats on the lawn are about midway up the hill.

We'll be there early tailgating, blasting some Manson in the lot, getting down as much alcohol as possible before going inside and getting raped by $7.00 beers.

Less than a week!!!  Weather forecast looks good and I'm ready to drink some beer, firewater and whiskey and watch Manson kick ass...

    Have a good time everyone!!!

^Hahah, cute. I don't think someone can stop liking Dr. Seuss. I actually got a metal lunchbox that I was planning on giving him for the lulz, but then I realized there's..probably a good chance that I won't be able to see him before/after the show to hand it over. So. [shrug]

But I think I can be able to give it to him if I can be at the front row .I was at the front row at Indianapolis concert and second at Chicago so I think I can hand it to him.I don't think security would let you take the lunchbox in with you though , at the Chicago concert they didn't even let my backpack inside.

Just a heads-up that I won't be at this show, but will be at the Saturday and Sunday shows...my friend who's coming with me could not get Friday off work.

Will text some of you guys about meeting up tomorrow or Friday. =)
