I am going with my significant other. I really hope that we can meet up with other fans. Please get a hold of us before the show so we can set up plans, etc. My email is bhwarner2009@yahoo.com. My phone number, etc, can be gotten from my member information..
I'll most likely be at this one.

Just wondering, did anyone who got their tickets for this show from the pre-sale actually recieve theres in the mail yet?

I've had my ticket for this show for over a month, but at this point I have no idea which site I ordered it through or which presale it was or anything of the sort, lol.
If you mean the Mayhem site presale I think they've only just started mailing them out since everyone's only just gotten their tickets for the 1st and 2nd shows of the tour in the past few days. They're really cool and very different from normal tickts, btw, I can see why they've taken so long.
Anyway, my ticket for this show is a normal-looking TicketBastard ticket, so it probably wasn't from a presale, come to think of it. I think all the Slayer site's presale tickets were LiveNation tickets so it would've been one of those it was.
Sorry, I guess that's the long version of "I don't know," lol.
:P

Ok well thanks, that did clear things up a bit. I'm not sure which presale mine came from either but I think that it was the Mayhem one, and that makes sense since you said people are just starting to get theres for it. Kinnda puts me at ease for now.

I had my choice between this and Post-Gazette. I suggest to any of you going to Blossom who can go to Pittsburgh instead if possible. Post-Gazette is just a superior venue.

Why is it so much better?

Cause it has a lawn and a pit. Blossom has chairs and wheelchair ramps.

I'm pretty sure Blossom has a pit too. From what I heard they take the chairs in the front out for it. And I also thought it had a lawn as well. I've never been to either venue though.... only ampitheaters I usually go to are Molson Amp in Toronto and Darien Lake in Buffalo.... but since Mayhem bailed on Toronto I must now treck to Cleveland.

Yeah, Blossom has a pit. Or they did for NIN 3 years ago, anyway...I don't see why they wouldn't for a metal festival. And it has a lawn, too. A beautiful, lovely lawn with a great view and very comfortable grass. The incline's a bit steep but that only helps improve the view of the show and is only a problem in heavy, heavy rain...which I think most people would appreciate in the July heat.
And it's the concert venue for the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, so the acoustics are phenomenal. Plus, it had a $17 million renovation recently, so everything's nice and new.
I can NOT say enough good things about the beautiful surroundings, either. It's right in the middle of hundreds and hundreds of acres of forest in an area protected as a National Park. There's a picnic area in the woods between the parking lot and the venue, too...so come ready to party!!! I wish I could stay longer so I could camp!!!
I've only been there once, but I've been DYING to go back ever since. In case you can't tell, it's hands-down one of my all-time favorite concert venues...and I've seen quite a few, lol.

going to cleve-o as well.taking my friend for her 41st birthday( and first Manson show). Come have a drink with us.
Hoping you guys can help me out here. I'm wondering how far the venue is from downtown Cleveland, as I'm looking to book a hotel for after the concert cause I don't think I'll be feeling up to the three hour drive home after that long day. But yeah, I kinnda wanna stay downtown and hit up the rock and roll hall of fame the next day. So if any of you Cleveland folk could help me out here I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

i think it's about 25 minutes away.but i don't swear to it .
I am definitely going to be at this show
