Oddly I might be in the Phoenix area for a different show two days before..Only to fly back home to see the Jim Rose Circus, and then fly back to Phoenix for Manson..then on to the New mexico show. Basically I was trying to cut on transit costs. If I add the extra day in AZ, I can check out all the things i'd like to without restrictive time constraints, via public transit.
And yes flying out to a ton of shows might seem silly/redundant, but damnit, bands don't have residences at venues.
How come you're not going Alison? I got an e-mail via some citicards promotion for $5 lawn seat live nation event tickets.

Well, I might be going.
I´m currently in Mexico for the entire month of July visiting family, but I made a deal with my mom if that I didn´t fail math (which I didn´t, thank god) then she´d get me a plane ticket to go to Mayhem and back.
So hopefully she keeps her word, haha

Alright, I just got home from the show and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. I had been reading in all of these forums and seeing some of the complaints from the European tour and it made me a little disappointed and I didn't know what to expect, but I thought they sounded great (far better than had been reported). The band chemistry seems much better than it was on the winter 08 leg of the Rape of the world tour when Twiggy reunited with manson. Twiggy looked to me like he had a lot more energy and was having more fun playing guitar than he did playing bass on the last tour when I saw them at the dodge theater. I also thought Manson's vocals sounded great and by the way the tracks from The High End of Low sound amazing live. I showed up late because I was basically only there to see Marilyn Manson and I looked for the seperate merch booth but I didn't see one set up for manson and I just ended up with that eagle tee (best Manson shirt I've ever seen) and a glowstick. Awesome show, just too short of a setlist because it's a festival.

i really wish he would do away with Sweet Dreams for awhile, and replace with something that we haven't heard in awhile. But, the setlist really isnt that bad. I was hoping Pretty As A Swastika would've stayed in the set and maybe add The Reflecting God beng it was on the Europe set, but never played. Maybe he'll bring out something a little different at the later dates. But, all in all the shows seem to be pretty solid, which of course is the most important thing. As long as its a good show, im happy.

I wish The WOW was back on the setlist =( ..
